Flash flood warning issued for Allegheny County - Pittsburgh Post Gazette

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a flash flood warning for central Allegheny County and east central Beaver County.

The alert said a line of thunderstorms extending from Monaca, Beaver County, to Bellevue and Franklin Park could cause flash flooding if an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain falls before 6 p.m. The storms were moving southeast at 10 mph.

The warning is in effect until 7:30 p.m.
