Federal marshals today announced the arrests of four fugitives, including one who has been on the run from charges of violent crime since 2008.
Captured this morning by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force at a McKeesport residence was James Parrish, 29. He faces four-year-old charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault in Georgia and had a rifle and ammunition when arrested, according to a press release.
Also captured in separate arrests were Richard Parker, 31, of the North Side; John W. Doswell, 64, of Wilkinsburg; and Akinyele Scott, 43, of McKees Rocks.
Parker and Doswell were arrested for violating sex offender registration rules. Scott was arrested for violations of his parole on assault and drug crimes.
Marshals were joined in the separate arrests by Pennsylvania State Police and Pittsburgh police, Westmoreland County sheriffs deputies and state Parole Board agents.
